And I be troubled, I be all worried in mind

All he had was a crumbled photo of a unknown woman and child. Yet he was reflected in a car window, taking the picture, looking so much younger. He hesitated, then dialled the number scrawled on its back. A child answered, and screamed at his, ‘Hello,’ before the phone went dead. Then it rang back.

  9. Whew! such suspense from the very beginning. To capture that tension is a gift. I like to hear work read aloud, you and Robert Frost's Banjo have a tool I want,
    I will try it myself this weekend.
    Great reading voice, but slow down!
