This senryu hits the bulls eye.
I used to write a lot of senryu and haiku but gave it up becos I found I couldn't write longer pieces any more. Have you ever tried American sentences? 17 syllables one line poems. I have written a cuople of poems consisting of interconneted american sentences. Those stand alone too.
