In the small things will love linger

‘Was dad handsome?,’ Annie asked, as she knelt down next to her mother.

‘Oh, he were a Brando before fat got him…Brando, not your dad,’ she laughed, putting her hand around Annie.

That he was a different star each month was never questioned –  both needed the truth of lies.
