New cars parked next to his rusting Chevrolet Caprice was bad news. Aaron felt they rubbed in that he had lost everything driving away from her laughing protests and Bill’s embarrassed ‘Sorry mate.’ That he used the cars as a public can was understandable but never yet to the owners.
