He had those glasses on that made him look like he wore beer bottle bottoms. His trousers were neat but shiny suggesting a mother somewhere would miss him. Neil was trying to be cool with the ladies but from the corners of the square a battering of brothers gathered around.

Does that nose come off with Neil's glasses? It looks like maybe so. He'd be wise to remove them as the bros descend upon him. Like they always say, "Save the glasses, save the nose." It's sort of a "two birds with one stone" thing, only facial.
