Shortly after my husband and I started dating, he was in an accident. My parents were already hesitant to let me ride with him (very untrusting of teen drivers) and he was freaking out, explaining to them over and over again that it was "100% not his fault". 15 years later, "100% not my fault" is still a family go-to.
