For the sun and rain shines on us all

Visit Mr.Knowitall to post your own Friday Flash Fifty-Five Fiction!

I saw Jesus in the street today. He wasn't your heavy metal Jesus, all girlie hair with a beard and tight trousers to show he's a man. He was a hip-hop hoodie with love scratched on arms walking like his hips were ships in a storm. And I knew a door had opened for me.

    1. You'll find Jesus Through the Centuries: His Place in the History of Culture by Jaroslav Pelikan an interesting take on that thought!

  3. Excellent. I'm currently listening to some 90's house music. I know it's not exactly hip-hop, but the two are kind of cousins.

  4. … I guess I'm a traditionalist - like my "girlie long-haired Jesus"… but we are all called "to be" Jesus - and we all express ourselves with different traditions, etc. Very interesting thought process this 55.
